Welcome to West Sussex Web Design

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of services provided by West Sussex Web Design, a freelance web designer operating under UK law. By engaging with our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Services

I provide professional web design and development services tailored to your needs. The scope of work will be detailed in a written agreement or project brief prior to commencement.

Payments

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upfront before any work begins.
The remaining 50% is due upon final project delivery, prior to the transfer of files or website going live.
Payment can be made via bank transfer or any method specified in the invoice.

Project Timelines

Estimated timelines will be agreed upon prior to project commencement.
Timelines are dependent on timely feedback, content delivery, and approvals from the client.
Delays in client response may affect the final delivery date.

Revisions

3 rounds of revisions are included in the original project cost.
Additional revisions will be charged at hourly rate or fee.

Client Responsibilities

Providing accurate and timely content, materials, and feedback.
Ensuring they have the necessary rights to all content provided.

Ownership & Copyright

Upon full payment, all design and source files created for the client will be transferred and become the client's property.
Until the final payment is received, all deliverables remain the property of West Sussex Web Design.

Cancellations & Refunds

The 50% deposit is non-refundable.
If the client cancels the project after work has started, no further refunds will be issued, and any additional work completed beyond the deposit value may be invoiced.

Limitation of Liability

I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the completed website.
I do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the website once handed over.

Confidentiality

Any information shared by the client will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties without written consent.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of "England and Wales". Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Brighton and Hove.
